The Duo

Kismet.

Sometimes you have to roll with a good thing when it’s handed to you! Nick May of The Chaise Lounge invited Catherine and Garrison on his Morning Show at High Point Market and what happened next no one could have scripted. It was as if they had known each other for years… an instant connection! The conversation and banter was off and rolling. Now from coast to coast, it continues each week as Garrison and Catherine find common ground and a lot of laughs despite their differences.

Garrison Hullinger

Garrison Hullinger is Principal at Garrison Hullinger Interior Design. GHID’s meteoric rise from its 2010 start in Garrison’s attic, to a bustling studio in downtown Portland, is a direct result of the talent and flexibility of the team he has assembled and nurtured over the years. Garrison’s commitment to client-centered design and deep understanding of color, form, and construction shape every project that GHID takes on – whether it’s a private home, a multi-family development, or a high-end hotel.

Garrison came to Interior Design later in his career, and his path has been anything but typical. On Coast to Coast, he’ll bring his business acumen, his breadth of experience, and his warm, no-nonsense attitude to the table.

Lisa Davenport

Lisa has been designing fine custom interiors and exteriors for over 25 years and opened her current firm, LDD Interiors, in 2012. Her background includes a degree in graphic design as well as a position in the Visual Merchandising division of a regional clothing store. These brief yet valuable experiences laid the groundwork for her to study Interior Design at Paier College of Art.

Lisa splits her time between her hometown of Durham, CT where her roots run deep and Naples, FL, where she has embraced, and been embraced by, a new group of ‘family’ and friends. While she loves sharing her own little ‘Mayberry’ (aka Durham) with her clients and followers, she is also smitten with the charm of Naples. Her life in CT has contributed to her own personal design style where modern meets traditional meets salvage. She enjoys bringing some of that style to Southwest FL and, in turn, bringing some of that southern feeling back to CT – it’s truly the best of both worlds.
